Switching apps
Switching to Lawnzie from another app
Export your data from your old app, then bring it into Lawnzie. You export, we import — we never need your old login.
Want us to do it for you?
White-glove migration is free with Business+. Tell us about your business and we'll move your customers, schedule, open invoices, and history for you.
Start my white-glove migration →Jobber
- 1In Jobber, open the Clients tab from the side navigation.
- 2In the top right, select More Actions, then Export Clients.
- 3Choose vCard or CSV to export your full list (or click a tag first to export only clients with that tag).
- 4Jobber emails you the exported file — CSV files cap at 1,500 rows per email, so a larger list arrives as multiple files.
What you'll get
- Client names, tags, property addresses, contact info, and any custom fields you've set up.
What it doesn't export
- This export is your client list only — job history, quotes, and invoices aren't included. Email support@lawnzie.com and we'll help you bring those over too.

Square
- 1Customers: sign in to Square Dashboard, go to Customers > Customer directory > Directory, click Import/Export > Export customers, choose All Customers (or Specific Groups), click Export, then Download.
- 2Invoices and other reports: go to Reports, select the report, set your filters, click the export icon, then Start export to download a CSV.
- 3Transaction history: from Transactions, use Export to download transaction details as a CSV.
- 4Appointments history: go to Appointments (or Payments > Appointments) > Settings > History > Export to download a CSV.
What you'll get
- Your customer directory (names, contact info, notes), plus separate CSV exports for invoices/reports, transactions, and appointment history.
What it doesn't export
- Each of these is a separate export — there's no single "everything" file. Bring over whichever ones apply to your business; email support@lawnzie.com if you're not sure which you need.

QuickBooks Online
- 1Click the Settings gear, then under the Tools column select Export data.
- 2Select the reason for exporting, then Continue.
- 3On the Reports tab, set your date range from the Pre-selected date ranges dropdown.
- 4On the Reports and Lists tabs, turn on the items you want (customer lists, invoices, etc.).
- 5Select Export to Excel, then OK.
What you'll get
- Your chosen reports and lists (customers, invoices, and more) as Excel files in one .zip.
What it doesn't export
- QuickBooks exports as Excel, not CSV — you may need to save each sheet as .csv before uploading. Email support@lawnzie.com if the file doesn't import cleanly.

Housecall Pro
- 1Customers: select Customers in the left nav, click Actions, select Export, confirm the email address, and click Send file.
- 2Jobs: select Jobs in the left nav, click Actions, select Export, confirm the email address, and click Send File.
- 3Price Book: click the gear icon > Settings > Price Book, choose the Services or Materials tab, then click Export.
- 4Housecall Pro emails the CSV from notifications@housecallpro.com shortly after — check spam if it doesn't arrive within an hour.
What you'll get
- Separate CSV exports for your customer list, job history, and price book (services & materials).
What it doesn't export
- Only account Admins can run these exports. If you don't have admin access, ask whoever set up your account, or email support@lawnzie.com.

LawnStarter / Lawn Love
- 1Make a list of your own clients: customers you served before joining, or found on your own. Leave out every customer you got through LawnStarter or Lawn Love.
- 2Keep proof those clients are yours: older invoices, texts, or payment records.
- 3Download or request your earnings history and any 1099s from LawnStarter provider support before you leave.
- 4You don't have to quit to start: keep taking LawnStarter jobs there while you run your own clients in Lawnzie.
- 5When you're ready to leave, give LawnStarter written notice. For a year afterward, don't contact or accept work from customers you met through the app — point them back to LawnStarter.
What you'll get
- Your own clients, schedule, prices, invoices and history
- Your LawnStarter earnings totals, so your year's income is in one place
What it doesn't export
- LawnStarter owns the customers you got through the app, and their details are confidential under your agreement — we won't import them.

Yardbook
- 1Sign in to Yardbook and open Customers from the left-side navigation (add it to your sidebar first if it isn't already showing).
- 2Click "Download as CSV" to save your customer list to your computer.
- 3Repeat from Expenses, Payments, or Invoices in the left nav if you want those too — each has its own Download as CSV link.
What you'll get
- Your customer list, and separately your expenses, payments, or invoices, each as its own CSV.
What it doesn't export
- Yardbook exports each section separately — there's no single combined file. Email support@lawnzie.com if you're not sure which sections to bring over.

LMN
Your app's export options vary — email support@lawnzie.com and we'll walk you through it.
Service Autopilot
- 1Go to CRM > Clients.
- 2Hover over Actions, then select "Export Clients".
- 3Open your My Day Page and find the export under Recent Exports.
- 4When its status shows "completed," click the export's name to download it (an .xls file).
What you'll get
- Your client list. Service Autopilot also supports exporting from the Dispatch Board, Invoices, and Payments screens the same way.
What it doesn't export
- If you don't see an Export option, it may need to be turned on in User Roles and Rights first. Email support@lawnzie.com if you get stuck.
Checked against Service Autopilot's official page on 2026-09-27.
Paper or a spreadsheet
- 1Open a spreadsheet (Google Sheets or Excel) with columns for name, phone, email, and address — one customer per row.
- 2Type in your customers from your notebook, invoices, or existing spreadsheet.
- 3Save or export the file as a .csv.
What you'll get
- Whatever you type in — this is the most reliable option since you control exactly what goes in.
What it doesn't export
- It's manual work, but for a short list it's often faster than wrestling with another app's export. Email support@lawnzie.com if you'd like a template.
Something else
- 1Check your current app's settings or account menu for an "export," "download my data," or "backup" option — most CRMs and invoicing apps have one.
- 2Save the file as a .csv if you're given a choice of format.
What you'll get
- Depends on your app — most exports include at least customer name and contact info.
What it doesn't export
- Your app's export options vary — email support@lawnzie.com and we'll walk you through it.
Got customers through a marketplace app?
If some of your customers came through a lead or marketplace app such as LawnStarter or Lawn Love (the same company since 2021), check your provider agreement before moving them. Many of these agreements don't allow taking customers you met through the app off the platform — LawnStarter's applies for a year after you leave. Customers you found on your own are yours to bring.
When we do a white-glove migration, we only move the customers who are yours. Before you upload anything, we'll ask you to confirm the customers you're moving are your own clients.
Import your customers yourself
Once you have your CSV file, open the Lawnzie app and go to Customers → Import → From a CSV file.
Columns we recognize: name (or customer / client), phone (or mobile / cell), email, address.
Stuck? Email support@lawnzie.com and we'll help.
